Post Construction Cleaning in Charlotte
What post construction cleaning covers
Construction dust is not ordinary dust. Drywall powder settles into every horizontal surface, works into vents and window tracks, and re-circulates for weeks if it is only wiped down once.
Post-construction cleaning is a separate scope: debris removal, adhesive and sticker residue, paint overspray, fixture and vent cleaning, and repeated passes so the fine dust stops resurfacing.
Charlotte renovates heavily in the older neighbourhoods — Dilworth, Elizabeth, Plaza Midwood — where a finished project still needs this pass before it is livable.

Timing
When to book in Charlotte
The Carolina calendar shapes what a home needs and when slots disappear.
Late winter
Book deep cleans before the Carolina pollen season starts in March. Getting ahead of it beats chasing it.
Spring
Peak pollen. Recurring plans move to weekly or biweekly for a stretch, then settle back.
Summer
Humidity keeps bathrooms and lower levels working against you. A mid-season deep clean resets the baseline.
Turn of the month
Move-in and move-out slots fill fastest around the first. Book two to three weeks out.
Why us
Why Charlotte chooses us for post construction cleaning
Construction dust is its own problem
Drywall powder settles into every horizontal surface and re-circulates for weeks if it is only wiped once.
Multiple passes, not one
Fine dust resurfaces. The scope includes repeat passes so the space is genuinely finished rather than briefly clean.
Renovation-heavy neighborhoods
Dilworth, Elizabeth, and Plaza Midwood renovate constantly. We work in and around finished projects regularly.
Satisfaction guarantee
If an included area was missed, contact us within 24 hours and we return to put it right at no additional charge.

Questions
Post Construction Cleaning questions
When should post-construction cleaning happen?
After the trades are finished and before you move furniture in. Cleaning while work continues means doing it twice.
Do you remove construction debris?
We remove light debris and packaging. Bulk material and anything requiring a dumpster should be handled by the contractor before we arrive.
How much does post-construction cleaning cost in Charlotte?
It is quoted on the size of the space and how much dust and residue is present, which varies far more than a standard clean. Send the project details and we will price it.
Why does it take more than one pass?
Drywall dust is fine enough to stay airborne for hours and resettles after the first wipe. The scope includes repeat passes so the space is genuinely finished rather than briefly clean.
Do you remove paint overspray and adhesive?
Yes, within reason. Overspray, sticker residue, and adhesive on glass and fixtures are part of the scope. Cured paint on a finished surface may need the contractor to correct.
What about inside cabinets and closets?
Included, and important. Drywall dust settles inside every cabinet during construction, and it is the first thing you notice when you start loading them.
Do you clean HVAC vents after construction?
Vent covers and the reachable surrounds, yes. Full duct cleaning after major work is a specialist job and worth doing separately if the system ran during construction.
Can you work around a partially finished project?
We can, but it is rarely worth paying for. If one room is complete and sealed off from the rest, that is a reasonable exception.
How much notice do you need?
A week is comfortable. Post-construction work needs a larger crew and more equipment than a standard visit, so it is harder to place at short notice.
Do you bring your own supplies?
Yes, including the equipment this work specifically needs. Construction dust does not respond to standard household kit.
